CRNA programs that don't require the GRE

Mostly no. 143 of 153 accredited programs in our directory do not require it; 10 still do. Programs have moved toward weighting science GPA, ICU acuity, and the interview instead. Verify on the program's own admissions page — requirements change between cycles.

Only if a program you actually want requires it, or if you need it to offset a low GPA at a program that accepts it as a counterweight. Otherwise the same study hours are better spent on the CCRN, a higher-acuity ICU assignment, or shadowing — all of which carry more weight in nurse anesthesia admissions.
