Understanding your Candidacy Score
What the 0–100 score measures, why it's a planning tool rather than a verdict, and how to move it.
Your Candidacy Score is a 0–100 estimate of how competitive your profile is for CRNA admissions. It exists to give you a clear starting point and a prioritized to-do list — not to predict any single admissions decision.
What it looks at
The score weighs the same factors committees do: GPA (cumulative and science), the depth and recency of your ICU experience, certifications like the CCRN, shadowing, leadership, and other profile signals you enter.
Why it's a guide, not a verdict
Admissions is holistic and program-specific. Two applicants with the same score can have very different outcomes depending on fit, interviews, and how they tell their story. Treat the number as a compass heading, not a guarantee.
How to move it
The score comes with a ranked list of gaps. Work the Prep Plan built from those gaps — it sequences the highest-impact actions first (for many applicants that's ICU hours, the CCRN, or raising the science GPA). Re-run the score as your profile grows so the rest of the suite stays in sync.
